The SACSP presents a variety of lectures and symposia for members of the scientific community throughout the year. The majority of our lectures and symposia are open to the public and some are even free of charge. Check back often, as this page is continuously updated.

Monthly Meeting Technical Program

The SACSP continue to spotlight the latest trends in analytical science at their monthly meetings, welcoming acclaimed speakers presenting their research insight, highlights, and overviews in their fields of expertise. Although membership is limited to those residing in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland, all are welcome to attend the monthly virtual meetings.

Faraday Lecture

For decades, the Faraday Lecture has been held in November as a live event presented by prominent educators and scientists throughout the nation. Its astonishing demonstrations in chemistry and physics have both amazed and encouraged the middle and high school students to whom it is focused.
